It happens now again, and this morning it showered me with words, sentences, and phrases.
For the last few days, I’ve been thinking of what to write for a Halloween blog. I decided on a new short story/flash fiction. It came to me how there was only one person for the job, Cassidy Newbold, the protagonist from The Killer on the Heath. She is going to do a séance. Perfect.
Then I remembered I do have Cassidy short story. I wrote it a while ago to release when all the books are out, but they are delayed. So, I should publish that one here this month.
Which reminded me, I’m working on a flash fiction story from a newspaper clipping I saw. A tanker had crashed spilling its load of offal. Humour at the ready. 😂
This Christmas I’m organising a Festive Blog Hop, and am just finalising the details of that. And, during this month, I need to find time to go through the final draft of The Ghost on the Stairs, the last instalment of the Cassidy Newbold Trilogy.
I’m also going to change the focus of my blog next year, so more news on that at year end, but it does need a thought process first.
So, you can see why my head exploded, 😂
I’m working on a crochet blanket which I do in the evenings. Last night my dog was having none of it, and just wanted cuddles.

And finally, I’ve taken up pencil drawings again. I took lessons during lockdown in 2020/2021 from books and YouTube. Haven’t done it for a year. So here is one I did in 2020 and one I did last night. Still room for improvement, but it’s fun. Can’t wait to do more today – that’s if I can find the time!
