Sinners and Saints, Book Five.

In this book, the story belongs to Ryker and Faith, and oh, what a story it is!
Faith is charged with murder, which is a bit of a problem for Ryker, as he has already fallen in love with her. It’s also a conflict of interest because he is her lawyer. Although he wants to get her off, he is never entirely sure whether she is actually guilty.
What I loved most was the brotherhood and friendship between the five men. Their WhatsApp group is often hilarious as they tease and rib each other. But when it really matters, one of them only has to say “911” and they will drop everything and go.
Each of the men appears in the others’ books, which is what makes up the series. We already know them and their women, and each book ends with a glimpse of the next story to come.
Cleverly, little clues are dropped along the way and revealed later in the story. I loved everything about this book.
The characters also have careers of their own. In Bound, we become involved in Ryker’s work, which is woven seamlessly through the story. It gives us, as readers, another layer to enjoy.
I love the romance. You feel every moment of it, and seeing events from both viewpoints helps immerse you in their relationship.
If you like to experience a story rather than simply read one, I highly recommend this series.

Book Blurb and Link
I killed a man.
That’s what they charged me with after finding me in the woods with a bloody knife, a dead body, and no memory of how I got there.
The case was over before it began… until Ryker Kincaid stepped in.
Chicago’s most ruthless defense attorney. My brother’s best friend. The only man I ever loved.
He shouldn’t touch me. Shouldn’t move me into his penthouse.
Shouldn’t look at me like I’m something worth saving.
But he does.
Ryker believes I’m innocent, and he’s risking everything to prove it. His career. His reputation. His heart.
The price he demands is the truth. Every secret. Every dark corner of my past.
But I learned a long time ago that honesty makes people leave.
I survived them all walking away. I won’t survive losing Ryker.
So when the truth finally surfaces, there’s only one question left:
Will Ryker choose to stay… or will I lose the only man who ever made me believe I was worth loving?
