In this book, the group of survivors grows, with some interesting new people joining them, and they kept me turning the pages. As with the other books, we also lose people along the way, but none of the losses are as drastic as those in the previous books.
This is another really good read. I particularly enjoyed how they ended up in Norwich and visited places I’d been to.
Spared is a great book, but it still contained errors, including characters being called by the wrong names. The other thing that grated on me, as it had in previous books, was the supernatural element. It didn’t belong and added nothing to the story. The events, characters and situations were more than enough to keep me gripped.
There is a lot to like about this story. The diversity within the group of survivors is well represented, and this is certainly a series to enjoy.
