A beautiful tale of friends becomimg lovers!

Escape Beyond the Tide by N Dune

Romantic Suspense, Book 1 of 3

Rating: 5 Stars

290 pages

I saw this reviewed on Instagram, and after reading the blurb, I felt it might be the book I was looking for – a romantic suspense story with a great plot.

Jamie was a ruggedly, handsome figure, and Louisa, a sweetheart with a resilient spirit. The story unfolds in a picturesque seaside village in Cornwall.

I also enjoyed the supporting characters—two of which will become the main protagonists in the next two books.

There were two scenes that brought a lump to my throat. One was between Lou amd her mum and the other between her mum, and Jamie. Written so beautifully, that I had to stop and absorb it for a moment.

Yes, it’s steamy, but before things heated up, we really got to know the characters and became fully invested in their lives first. Their passion and love for each other felt natural with a deeply rooted connection that I felt with them.

I’ve waited a long time for a story such as this. It fulfilled everything I needed and I’m so glad I took a chance on this new to me author,

Big shout out for the gorgeous cover and the attractive formatting. The latter I’d never seen done before. It enriched my reading experience and took it to another level.

Overall, for romance lovers, this book hits the spot. Get your copy, sit back and enjoy!

This book is the first of a trilogy

Jay has loved Lou since they were building sandcastles on the beach. When fate throws them back together, he is determined not to let her go a second time. Can he keep her safe and convince Lou that she belongs on the Cornish Coast with him?

Escape Beyond the Tide is a friends-to-lovers, second chance romance and book one in the Beyond the Tide trilogy, which should be read in order. Trigger warning: This book contains references to and some scenes of domestic

My Favourite Bits

“Oh my God, Mum!” I know I’m gushing and squealing, but I can’t help it, and I go running over to her just as she gets to her feet. I feel her arms crushing me against her. There is no stopping the tears, and I’m a hiccupping mess by the time I finish hugging her. James places a wine glass in my hand and tops up Mums.

There is the sound of footsteps running. I sit down on the floor, not caring who it is. Arms surround me, crooning words meant to soothe, even though she needs these words too.

Her eyes drop as if showing emotion is too much for her. He has done this to her. I know this, not just from my own observation and knowing her the length of time I have, but from some of the things she told us last night.
