A few days ago I released a writing plan and all is going well with it so far. In fact, it made things easier to have them written down clearly so I can follow the list. However, I forgot a story, well two actually, because I only remembered it as I wrote this.
I’ve been reading a lot of post apocalyptic books this last year. One day I wondered what would happen if I woke up one day and saw a massive space ship hovering in the sky. I wrote out the whole story and loved how it turned out. Now it needs the details. Hopefully, this month I can try and fit it in somewhere.
It also reminded me that I wrote another complete story last year. It was intended to be part of a collection with another author. It was about an elderly couple who live in a luxury care home and found love. I need to get that done too.
What are your plans for July?
I imagined looking up to see a space ship and ended up writing a trilogy!

Hello Karen, on the About page of my website you can read about the trilogy. It started as a short story at writers’ group! Brief Encounters of the Third Kind was my first novel. The middle book, Three Ages of Man can also be read as a stand alone novel.

Your writing plan and idea sound fantastic. Best of luck for your month of July, Karen! I’m taking things day to day, but I do hope to accomplish some further work on my book of homonyms 💕🙂

Here’s the first post on Story Empire: https://storyempire.com/2023/03/27/homonyms-with-harmony-part-1/ It’s the easiest way to show you. I finished SE in December but am continuing, albeit slowly, on my blog 💖
