My Review of Grip of Fury by Sam J Fires

This is the third book of the After the End Series.

I really enjoyed Grip of Fury as I’m now familiar with the characters and eager to find out how they are getting on. As ever, life is not easy for Pat and Holly. They continually face the hardest of conditions as the snow and cold are relentless.

I found myself rooting hard for them. I wanted the characters to find peace and warmth, but life is rarely that easy, especially after an EMP attack, where all the power is out.

In this story, we meet the others mentioned in the previous books. Pat’s children, whom he’s been trying to reach, and his ex-wife, Kimberley. This time she has been given her own storyline, as she battles her way home.

Overall, this is another great book from Sam J. Fires. I particularly love how they are novellas so that you can whizz through and get a great tale at the same time. I highly recommend this series and it gets a full five stars from me!
