Description
Dreams are the perfect shelter for our fantasies, safe havens to step inside without changing our daily lives. For Lark Braithwaite, all that is about to change. During the last six months, Lark has dreamt of a mysterious Irish lover who knows what she wants and gives her exactly what she needs. In her waking life in busy London, things aren’t as ideal, as her long-term relationship with Charles, her controlling fiancé, has hit a dry spell.
When Lark is called home to Oregon for her father’s funeral right in the middle of a high-stakes corporate merger, she heads back to face the demons from her past. What she doesn’t expect is to meet her dream lover in the flesh. Niall O’Hagan steps straight out of her fantasies and right into her life, and the powerful connection they share rocks her foundation. Although she’s dealing with the bitterness of being betrayed by Charles and his jealousy, Niall soon stirs Lark’s awareness of the superficiality of her existence and reawakens not only her sexuality, but her soul.

Karen’s Magic Review
The storyline and plot are terrific. It’s full of intrigue, suspense, and romance as well as erotica. It wouldn’t be fair to class it as just an erotica story, it’s so much more than that. I’ve read erotica and soon got bored if that’s all the story is about. I didn’t get bored with this at all.
Lark and Naill are the main characters and their affair is hot! And I mean hot. A relationship that had many depths and got very intense on more than one occasion. I found it, shall we say, enlightening!
This story is much more than that, its a tale of families, betrayal, jealousy, mystery, and intrigue. It also has some twists I didn’t see coming.
This is the first time I have come across Roxanne Howard, the author, and was lucky to have won this book. She is so good at drawing the reader right into her pages. It is one of those stories that you would curl up on a rainy Sunday afternoon and lose yourself in. Her characters are fully formed and felt like real people. Her descriptions made me feel I was there – which of course was a bit embarrassing at times, especially when Lark and Naill thought they were alone!
If you took out the erotica, this story could easily stand alone and would probably not be as long a read. But why would you? Every part of this book is important and plays its part. There is nothing I can say that I would have preferred to have seen or was disappointed by.
An all round, very enjoyable read.
