A Weekend at Caistor Lakes by Joni Martin

I’d never heard of a Go-Pod before reading this book. We used to go on holiday in our caravan when our children were little, so I was interested to find out exactly what one was.

The author explains it well, and it sounds like a perfect way to spend a weekend away. Towing something smaller touring caravan is an appealing alternative.

Caister Lakes sounds like a lovely place to spend some time. I particularly loved the quote about its peacefulness, which I could easily imagine. When you work hard all week, downtime is important, and getting away somewhere like this sounds well worth it.

We grabbed our chairs and some sunshine while relaxing. A deserved rest after a week of working hard. It was fabulous to just soak up the rays of sun and watch the lake through the tree line.

This is a very quick read, taking about fifteen minutes. I’d have liked to see some photos included, both of the inside of the Go-Pod to accompany the description and of the Caister Lakes campsite.

If you’re considering this type of holiday, this little book gives you a useful introduction to what you can expect.
