Oh wow, for such a short book, I found this extremely good. I loved the way it was written, as it draws on all the reader’s senses, allowing you to truly feel the protagonist’s emotions.
Allie has stayed inside her home for three years after a terrifying experience that left her so traumatised she cannot leave. If it weren’t for her best friend, Mia, she might have lost her sanity.
Enough is enough, and Mia insists that Allie rejoin the world. A St Patrick’s Day party should show her what she’s been missing. Instead, it also forces her to confront what she tried to forget, as that terrible night begins to unfold once more.
A well-paced story with an ending I didn’t foresee.

Book Blurb and Link
Three years ago, on St. Patrick’s Day, Allie’s boyfriend vanished without a trace. The night was full of laughter and green confetti. Then, there’s a blank space in her memory she’s never been able to fill. No charges were filed. Allie was left with only fragments, clues that indicate she was the last person to see him alive.
Each year since, while everyone else celebrates, Allie stays isolated, cut off from the world. She refuses invitations, and lives inside the unanswered question that has defined her: What did I do that night?
When the third anniversary arrives, memories begin to surface uninvited, sensory flashes of music, laughter, and fear that do not align with the version of events she has clung to.
By the end of the night, Allie must confront the truth she’s tried to recover for the past three years.
