That’s good because it’s National I love Horses Day

Unfortunately, I lost the only photo I have of me riding a horse. So instead here is a photo of my mother with her sister and brother in the fifties.
I did a lot of horse riding as a child and teenager, but the last time I was in the saddle was in my late twenties.
I never got to ride a horse across the sand, a regret that still lingers. Yet the sight of them on the beach holds magic for me. I always stop to watch, captivated by their rhythm and flow. The sound of hooves pounding against the ground still fills me with love for these majestic animals.
I still ride, only now it’s through the characters in my books. One such story is A Cry in the Night, which is an emotive romance set in a beachside condo.
This week, I’ll be sharing a few facts and snippets, about the book on Instagram. Be sure to follow me there, and if you see a post, drop a comment. I’d love to hear from you.
Here’s the beautiful cover, designed by @jmnorthup who also writes emotional and thought-provoking stories. Be sure to give her a follow.

A Cry in the Night is available as an ebook or paperback.
I love the cover. Growing up on a ranch there were always horses around. I love them but am not keen on riding them. I have ahorse in my latest book, Amanda in Ireland: The Body in the Bog.

WordPress have stopped notifying me of comments, and I’ve just founds loads on unanswered one. How odd, and annoying.
