I can’t find the book I want to read because I keep running into the same issue.

There are many, thousands of writers out there, and I want a particular type of story, and I can’t find it.
This issue came up again recently when I fell for a book advert that sounded perfect. Knowing I’d been fooled before, I checked out the reviews. One said:
I liked the story line but this wasn’t well written.
This is a safe romance that’s kinda sweet…wish there was more of a conflict though.
One persons opinion on how it’s written isn’t always the same for another. It was the safe sweet romance that drew me.
It fit every other criteria. A good blurb, a novella, under 100 pages, and romance.
You wouldn’t think that would be difficult, would you?
I started reading, and yes, there was a couple of errors, but the story was good.
Then it wasn’t.
Why do we have to have men’s dirty thoughts all the time? Crude and graphic references are not what I want with romance!
I’m a long way from being a prude. I like sex in book, but it’s needs to subtle, We all know what goes on, we don’t need every detail and body part spelled out!
In case you don’t know, those are the kind of books I write. I can’t be the only author of this type of story. I want to read others! Help!
Two of my novellas are tender romances that venture into the bedroom. Except, they are written in a way that stirs deep emotion and connection with readers. I’d like your opinion too, if you like that kind of story.
A Cry in the Night is a romance where two vulnerable people just happen to share the same oceanside building They come to realise they are not alone with their inner turmoil. As they get to know each other, what comes naturally follows.

Play the Game is sweet story of possibilities. Stella has to keep her way of life a secret. She is too ashamed to share what goes on at home. Therefore all her dates have been disastrous as they want to know more about her. Then Stella meets Kelly and her life changes in ways she never imagined.

If you are, or know an author who writes this type of book, do let me know. I would love to read them.
It’s great you’re trying something new with the romance genre. I am not a big romance reader myself but I hope people who love the genre will enjoy your books!

Yeah, I don’t really care for detailed sex scenes either. Just a nice, simple romance with hints of bedroom scenes is fine for me.
