Nineteenth Century Ghost
Julia and her husband rented an authentic nineteenth century log cabin. They thought the open bedroom in the attic was quaint at first. When night fell however, the couple felt quite differently.
As they walked up the narrow squeaking staircase with their lit candles, they both got chills. Julia felt as though somebody was watching her, and could have sworn she saw a womanly figure slowly start moving towards her in the semi-darkness. She ran down the stairs, followed by her husband and the unwelcome apparition.
The frightened couple barely slept, as a lamenting ghost kept them company until sunrise.
