The #100wordstory is just that, exactly one hundred words long.

If you have a story that fits this criteria. Email me, I would love to feature you.

Falling in Love in Three Minutes and Three seconds.

I was 13. It was my first boy / girl dance in George Harbison’s basement. “Never My Love,” spun up on the record player. The girl who morphed from a sixth-grade soccer opponent to the most beautiful thing I could imagine approached my dark corner.

“We should dance.”

Every hormone screamed, “Yes!” I managed a shrug and took her hand.

We melted into one another’s arms. She felt warm and soft and smelled like strawberries.

In three minutes and three seconds I discovered the definition of heaven.

We touched foreheads when it was over. An unspoken beginning. Awkward. Authentic.
