The #100wordstory is just that, exactly one hundred words long.
If you have a story that fits this criteria. Email me, I would love to feature you.
The Discovery
by Fiona Keogh
She walked determinedly to reach her destination along the bridle path, in constant fear that somebody would get there first.
A robin fluttered in the hedgerow, a comrade to share her journey. Her murdered brother in a new guise, keeping her safe and on track.
She reached the hut with the hidden stash, away from prying eyes.
She saw the open door, her heart sank. She felt a push and fell to the hard floor, watching the cocaine spewing out of the bags.
As her hands were cuffed, she relaxed. Thankfully the police had found the coke, not the gang.

In some parts, it almost reads like poetry.
