An Electric Eclectic book

Karen’s Magic Review

This was an enjoyable read. I downloaded it because I was looking for an Electric Eclectic book and as this was new; I chose it, not having read the description first. I had no idea Morris Morris was a man, or what the story would be about. So I really enjoyed opening the first page, knowing nothing about it.

The genre is described as humorous, but I found it more than that. It was also a drama, an excellent one one. I wondered how it would unfold, especially as the two main chcharactersere elderly. You should never judge people by appearances! Two elderly people, what could they do? Well, a lot actually, and their antics were so funny. There is one particular bit where they get high and very silly – we’ve all been there – the silly bit, I mean? What ensued had me in stitches. I’ll never see the name Morris Morris without thinking titty titty again!

It was brilliant writing with an interesting storyline and the end was not quite what I expected either.

This book is part of the Electric Eclecticbrand of books and they are all shorter reads. Particularly good if you love reading but don’t have a lot of time. I read this in an evening. It is also a good way to find new authors.

If you are on Goodreads, why not add it to your To Read Shelf.

As Electric Eclectic books are designed to introduce you to new others, I present Carved Wooden Heart by the author. She can weave a good tale and all of them so different.
