ZAKEH: DISTRICT 1 (Evolution City MC)
Six months after the world fell, finding safety was only the beginning. Finding his mate would change everything.
ZAKEH
For six months, we’d been running Evolution City MC – District 1. It hadn’t been easy, and we were all exhausted, but we’d done it. Our people were finally thriving instead of merely surviving.
We were still being bombarded by people desperate to get inside our walls. Some passed our tests and earned a place in the city. Others failed and weren’t happy when we turned them away.
Our rescue missions had slowed, and I’d been focused on keeping our people safe. The thought that my mate could be out there in danger hadn’t even crossed my mind.
Not until I saw her running towards the wall with determination in every step.
ANNIE
My life had changed beyond recognition since the world collapsed. My family and I had been living safely on our off-grid homestead, but now even that sanctuary had been compromised.
We’d heard of a city called Evolution City, a sanctuary run by twelve paranormal motorcycle clubs. With my brother, my best friend, and my six children, I set out to find it. Leaving my parents behind broke my heart, but they couldn’t manage the journey on foot. And with two toddlers in tow, reaching the city was going to be hard enough. I’d set out searching for safety, desperate to protect the children in my care.
I never expected to find my mate. Or the salvation I’d been praying for.
