My Review
Sue is deeply in love with her husband, and he adores her in return. For her birthday, he gives her something truly special. She also shares a wonderful relationship with her sister, and life seems to be flowing along happily.
I liked how the author kept the story engaging as we shared in Sue’s joy. When fate intervenes, however, the twist completely took me by surprise. Shock is probably the more accurate word. Still, life goes on, and we are rewarded with a happy-ever-after ending.
I also enjoyed the world the author created. It felt fresh and different from anything I have read before, which made the story all the more enjoyable.
