YouTube

Some years ago I had a YouTube channel. I’d read book reviews and uploaded book trailers that people made for me. I’d read story excerpts from mine and from other authors,

Then I stopped using it and eventually took it down. My twenty-two subscribers remained.

Recently, after my publisher’s closed I had nowhere to put the videos I now made. So I resurrected it. Sadly only two subscribers remained.

I’m not totally sure what I want to do with it. The videos I put up there look nice, and I’m not totally comfortable talking in front of the camera which is what social media is about these days.

I’m not technical enough to create the wonderful animation some have. Maybe I’ll do some short Anglesey videos as summer is approaching .

My channel is about stories, but I don’t know how to present them there.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be gratefully received.

Meanwhile, I could do with some likes on my videos, comments if you want, and of course subscribers.

  2. Your videos are great. Well done. I would keep them up. Maybe read from your books but just use audio and appropriate pictures or scenery if you’re not comfy in front of the camera.
