Brief Description – a time traveller runs into trouble and gets arrested in the present day.

This is my kind of short story. I loved it! A bit of a mystery, an agent of the future and the police of present day – ish. I loved the humour and the promise of a so much more.
Time travelling is always interesting to read as long as it doesn’t get too complicated and this one doesn’t. It’s a fun read. It left me with enough to get my imagination going, with its time rifts and extraction processes.
Well done to the author. Greatly entertaining, as they all are in this series.
Highly recommended.

Michael York is a soft Time-Slip sci-fi drama with a dash of humour and a playful nod to science and pseudo-science.
The story follows Michael York, a seasoned intergalactic Marshal, who, while pursuing a dangerous fugitive, gets trapped in a time rift and finds himself unexpectedly thrust back into the 1980s.
Stranded in an unfamiliar time, Michael quickly becomes the subject of suspicion, questioned by local police who are mystified by his possession of a bloody dismembered hand and his arsenal of weapons.
Michael must be patient while he awaits a rescue and recovery team to extract him. However, his most pressing concern is returning home before he is late… again… and ruins his wife’s meticulously planned dinner party, a prospect he finds far more terrifying than chasing intergalactic criminals.
Packed with suspense, quirky twists, and laugh-out-loud moments, Michael York blends sci-fi adventure with a light-hearted take on time travel and human relationships. It’s a witty, fast-paced read that will keep you on edge and entertained from start to finish.
