It’s something I’ve noticed but hadn’t given it further thought. Now seeing this article makes me realise how greed is the perfect word.
The one that comes to mind for me is that when we bought a ticket to park, if you hadn’t used the time up, you’d pass it on. Now they use different machines that require registration numbers.
