My Review of Captured by V. K. Ludwig

I found this on Amazon whilst looking for an alien invasion story. I thought it looked interesting.

Alien ships land on earth and take people into their spacecrafts. Having a lack of their own females they need women of childbearing age to give them sons so they can continue their legacy.

Garrison Earth is established and the warriors are all looking for a woman that immediately attracts them.

Eden is the female protagonist who at the beginning of the story is doing her best to evade capture.

Torin is the second protagonist who recognises Eden as his fated mate. A term used a lot by the warriors. The view point switches in chapters between the two. Torin is tall and handsome warrior with a background that haunts him.

This story is explicit in parts, which I don’t particularly like, as I much prefer subtle bedroom scenes. However, this is only a very small part of a great story.

Overall, I enjoyed reading the book a lot. I loved the world-building and one that humans pay an integral part of. Eden build bridges and to help establish relationships between the two species. There is a lot to like in this story and I loved the romance of it. I would recommend it and if you truly love it you may venture into reading the whole series.
