I’ve read the previous five books in the series and when this one came out on the 27th March, I bought it and read it before the end of the month. As I said above, if the book has Julia’s name on the front, you know you are in for a good read.
Each book in the series is standalone and deals with one member of the Blackwood family finding a bride. This time it is Liam. If you think this is just a romance book, it isn’t. None of them are. It’s a thriller mystery.
Someone is out to assassinate Liam Blackwood, but he has no idea who it could be. As a result he is forced into hiding and assigned a bodyguard. Enter Agent Kelly Euston, a sassy, strong woman, who would lay down her life to protect her client. And that’s almost what she has to do.
Overall, it’s a super read. A woman protecting a man from harm is a refreshing change. It matches the pace of the other books with exciting, and page turning scenes. It will appeal to all readers and I thoroughly recommend it.
