I found this on Sahara’s Blog and being the same name and liking historical novels, I downloaded it.
Well, it served me right for not reading the description properly. I only read part of it and as it sounded good and mentioned vampires, I was sold!
Beautiful Sahara has an illness that is terminal. She meets Damien and he can save her, but she has to do something for him in return. Which, incidentally he didn’t tell her until after they were married. He seemed an honest bloke, so I’m not sure why he didn’t spill the beans first.
The storyline and plot was okay. It was well written and beautifully formatted. Only because it was a novella did I finish it. There were too many pages devoted to bedroom scenes for my liking.
Overall, I’m sure the author has a big following as this was an introduction to a full series. It’s clear to see she is passionate about her stories, but they just weren’t for me. I should have read that description properly, but at least it gave me a chance to write a review.
