This is another quick read, so after reading the first of the trilogy, I went onto this one. Beth and Glen were minor characters in Merry Christmas Eve Eve, now this is their story.
Beth runs the local bakery/cafe and makes delicious cakes which she delivers to the local manor house for their events. Glen’s brother, Jeff, inherited the building after the death of their father. It’s here that Beth meets Glen. Immediately, she has strong feelings for him, but he is still suffering from the loss of his father.
This story has all the elements of a lovely Christmassy festive read. Romance, parties, gingerbread, Christmas cake, and of course the nutcracker of the title.
Overall, a great read to lose yourself in. I recommend it.
