I saw this series on social media, and looked it up, but received this prequel free for subscribing to the author’s newsletter.
It’s an additional separate story that comes before book one. If you miss it, it doesn’t affect the series, but Liam’s back story is worth reading first.
Although short, Chaos Rising is terrifically entertaining. Straight away the reader is thrown into the terrifying action with Liam flying into Chicago to meet his brother, and his Eire for Christmas.
As they head through the city, their car comes to an abrupt halt, along with everyone else’s’. As they try and work out what’s happening, something far more devastating has them running for cover. My heart was in my mouth!
Overall, this story is one massive adrenaline rush. I was so enthralled that ai could barely put it down. It’s definitely one of those that continues to fill your mind when you aren’t reading it. For apocalyptic lovers like me, you’ll love it. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
