My Review of Evidence of the Affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I found this here on WordPress in a review by Stevie Turner. It also appealed because it’s a quick read at just 88 pages and I read it in one sitting.

I really enjoyed Evidence of the Affair because it was different. I don’t think I’ve read a story that is solely comprised of correspondence.

Carrie discovers that her spouse is having an affair after finding letters written to him by another woman. She decides to write to the husband and the pair develop a friendship based on their hurt feelings.

The only thing I found difficult was the hand writing font used to differentiate between letters. It was a faint and not as easy to read.

Overall, this is a clever book. To develop a storyline like this has its limitations, but it kept my interest throughout. The ending is not at all predictable and took me by surprise. I highly recommend it and it gets a full five stars!

This book is a best seller with over 25,000 reviews. It is also, at the time of posting free to download
