I did a feature on Tastefully Texas back in June and I think the cover is beautiful. That, and the description lured me straight to Amazon where I bought it.
What I loved was how it isn’t just a romance. This was about the running of a cattle ranch, the beef it supplies, and delightful culinary dishes. The main two characters are Trace, the rancher, and Mia the chef. There are wonderful descriptions of Texas life and landscapes. Not only did I have the tastes and smells fill my imagination, but the love story, too. The secondary characters also filled my heart.
The only thing I didn’t like was the small font of the book. Of course, with an ebook, you can rectify it, but a paperback is easier on my eyes than staring at a screen for hours. It was fine in good light, but anything less, I had to put it away.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this first book of the series, and as I said, the cover is stunning. It’s a romance in many different ways, and although the ending was predictable, the bumpy ride getting there was extremely enjoyable.
