Love Ever After, Fighter by Danielle Young

This story finishes the book off nicely, and wow, what a way to finish.

Description

Reunite with your soulmate on a ranch in Colorado; escape certain death with the love of your life in Yugoslavia; toast marshmallows by the light of the setting sun whilst you find the strength to carry on; or search for your lost love as the smell of fish and chips dances on the sea breeze. Something for everyone, each of these stories tells of love in all its form.A collection of short stories from authors you know and love.

Karen’s Magic Review

Alli and Chris are the two protagonists in Fight with Alli being the main character and told from her point of view. This was a highly emotive subject matter and it made it a strong setting.

The most interesting about this story was all the things it didn’t say. It was so cleverly written. It didn’t need to say those things because the story continued between the lines as the reader got a glimpse of what could have been a harrowing novel. The dark past was hinted at without the gory details, but just enough of it for the reader to fully understand why there is such an impact on the characters.

I was completely riveted to every word written. Every word played its part in weaving a fantastic story. It is a subject I dislike intensely, and I wasn’t sure whether I would enjoy it this story, but I really did.

Very well put together and leaving the reader with much food for thought. I could so easily see this as a full novel, and what an interesting read that would be.

At the beginning of the Lover Ever After anthology, we started with fireworks, and we go out with a bang, a big one.

I loved all of these stories, and the next post I make will be announcing my over all winner.
