Book, Post Apocolyptic

Spared, A British Apocalypse – Alone by Graham Toseland

I found this on Amazon, where they recommend other reads you may like. As I had a credit on Audible, I listened to it and also downloaded it through Kindle Unlimited. I enjoyed both formats.

I’ve read a lot of post-apocalyptic fiction, so coming across a slightly different take on the genre is very refreshing.

We follow several people who individually find themselves alone in the world. They venture out and eventually meet up. Watching each of them make their way through this new world, discovering what has happened and what remains, is what keeps the pages turning.

A great addition to my post-apocalyptic reading, and even better, it’s a series. Book two is already on my Kindle.

What do you do when you wake up one morning and everything has gone?

No power, no internet, no people.

The pitifully few survivors are alone in a world that looks the same but has changed forever.

Each has a journey to make and a reason to make it.

Whether they make it or not is now a life or lonely death decision.
