I had a little fun adding myself to the book cover especially for the review.
This is the second anthology I’ve read by the extremely talented young writers of the Driftwood Writing Group. I loved how all the stories were set in the town of Lakeside View, where dark secrets and hidden horrors lurk around the lake itself.
This wonderful collection of stories and poetry showcases the boundless imagination of these teenagers, where creativity knows no limits.
I particularly enjoyed the story featuring a brand-new pastry called The Lakeside View Hat, which I would have loved to try myself! Pen Very News had me chuckling, and there were so many memorable and imaginative pieces that stood out.
I highly recommend this anthology. It offers something a little different while supporting and celebrating the creativity of young people.
