The Earl’s Jilted Bride by Ruth Ann Nordin

I’m so in love with this series. As in previous books there is another conflict in the story that isn’t mentioned in the blurb. More than halfway through, something happens that I hadn’t expected. It kept me turning the pages to find out what happened.

The viewpoint switches between the two main characters, but in a way that felt different from other books I’ve read. There was so much to enjoy about this story. As I mentioned in the graphic, if you love Bridgerton, this is perfect for you.

I loved the dresses, and the front cover depicts them beautifully. The gentlemen, the airs, and graces, and the upstairs-downstairs world with the servants — it all created such a vivid atmosphere.

I’m now eager to start the next book, especially because the protagonists flow seamlessly through each story in the series.

A five-star read that I highly recommend.
