My Review
An intriguing story about a young woman who is escaping a broken romance when she comes across a small village. At first it seems delightful, but then strange things start to happen.
Jinn, the main character ends up staying longer than she thought. Against all odds she meets the man of her dreams, Only he isn’t quite what he seems.
This short read has an ethereal quality at times. The author certainly shows creativity, as the story blurs reality into imagination.
This was the first book I’ve come across where there are no chapter breaks, therefore making it difficulty to read for periods as there was no natural stopping place.
The Figment is not overly dramatic instead it enjoys a gentle flow of intrigue and mystery.

Most of us have had a dream of a perfect partner. What happens when you find your dream is “as real as you want it to be” and not a figment of your imagination?
B”The Figment” is a story of Jinn Medlin young woman running from a bad romance in the big city only to stumble upon a tiny village of Moonbeam Hill, VA where the residents are kind to lost travelers and just a little bit psychic. There’s even a tall dark stranger who takes her under his wing, but the folks in town only nod and wink when he is mentioned.
Who is he? A figment of her imagination? Is he even human?
