My Review
I absolutely loved this book. The lead-up to the asteroid strike was gripping — I couldn’t stop turning the pages to find out what happened next.
What made it different for me was that it wasn’t just a post-apocalyptic story; it was also a steamy romance. I skimmed over some of the more intense scenes, but I really enjoyed the romantic side and watching the relationship between the main characters develop — especially against such an exciting backdrop.
Kat and Ryan are brought together by a mutual friend. What they don’t expect is a desperate race across the country to reach the safety of a bunker owned by Ryan. Their journey is perilous, filled with danger at every turn, and often it seems they won’t make it.
The author balances tension and romance beautifully, keeping the story exciting and thoroughly page-turning. It was definitely the kind of story I love.
I spotted it in a Facebook advert and immediately saw it ticked my boxes — under three hundred pages and included in Kindle Unlimited.
