My Review
This is the second short story I’ve downloaded from this author. I enjoyed the first, but this one was definitely my favourite of the two.
There are several heart-in-the-mouth moments, multiple viewpoints, and an exciting ripple effect as the story unfolds. It’s very cleverly written. At first, I thought I was reading one thing — then it turned out to be something entirely different.
The final chapter shouldn’t be there — by which I mean, how can it possibly be? But it doesn’t matter, because it’s author’s licence, and it works brilliantly.
An absolutely superb story that can easily be read in one sitting
