Having read the whole twenty-two book series, I didn’t know what to expect from this prequel novella.
What I got was a crime, a community and Christmas. No dead bodies here, instead a delightful tale from the detectives of the Yorkshire Dales. I really enjoyed it.
Petty theft, poignant stories, a happy event and lots of snow. A great little accompaniment to a wonderful series.
