Release Day For My Book Toxic, a Post Apocalyptic Romance

I’m absolutely thrilled to re-release my own book Toxic, a post-apocalyptic romance. It was last on sale in 2018, and in 2022 I took all of my books down to rewrite them. Toxic was the final one to return, and it’s the one I’m most excited about because it has backstory.

In 2017, author Karina Kantas and I decided to write a book together, and Toxic was the result. We even wrote a follow-up, though that one never made it to publication – maybe one day!

Back then, we had two books with the same story, the same characters, and even the same cover: mine was the romance version, and hers was the steamier one.

When a publisher expressed interest, we unpublished the books, but unfortunately things didn’t work out. After that, we agreed to write our own individual versions instead of keeping them identical. Time passed, other projects took over, and somehow Toxic never got rewritten… until now.

I simplified the plot while staying true to the original storyline, and I’ve dedicated this version to Karina. Without her, the story would never have existed.

As an author, I often cross bridges between genres, which basically means I write romance with a theme. I’m delighted to finally have a post-apocalyptic story back in my collection.
