I’ve always written stories – just for my own pleasure, and no one ever got to read them. It was my form of escapism.
Growing up, I often felt lost, like I didn’t know what I was doing or where I was going. Everyone else seemed so much more confident. They knew what they wanted and how to get it. Meanwhile, I stood on the sidelines, waiting for someone to tell me what to do.
Looking back, I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. It’s actually a normal part of growing up to be unsure of yourself. Some people faked it better than I did. And of course, we didn’t have social media back then, so the only things we saw were magazines.
Writing stories let me be anyone I wanted. I could go places and do things I never dreamed of. It was fun!
Then I heard that Amazon had opened its doors to anyone who wanted to publish a book. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to share my work.
Sales were slow, although I did sell some copies and even received a few lovely reviews. But deep down, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know how to promote myself. I had no brand, no way to reach readers, and no clear place in the market. I wrote in different genres and didn’t know where I fit.
After being on my own for a long time, my biggest wish was to join a publisher who could guide and support me. I joined one, and released several books, but didn’t learn anything. I joined another where I learnt a lot, but released few books.
Now, I’ve found the Write Here, Write Now Community, and I finally feel like I’ve found my feet. I have support, friendship, and a wealth of knowledge at my fingertips.
I’m thrilled to finally have a logo and tagline—and for the first time, I know what kind of fiction I write – romance that bridges different genres.
This is my tagline –
Building Bridges Across Genres.
It means I’m a multi genre author and join romance with other themes.
I have a new logo and a cover photo which you’ll also see on my Facebook. The Menai bridge is represented here and it’s one of the two bridges that joins Anglesey, where I live, with mainland, Wales.

A great tag line and logo! Isn’t it awesome to keep learning!
