Junk Journaling

#junkjournal #craft

I had a crafty afternoon the other day and it was a fun way to be creative.

I finally made some page spreads with the birthday cards I received back in April.

These spreads turned out better than I hope. I’ve struggled in the past, finding it hard to be as creative as the people on YouTube and TikTok are.

But recently I’ve learnt not to overthink it, and that’s exactly what I was doing.

I cut up the cards, some to fit the size of the journal and mixed them up. Adding the handwritten greetings gave it more of a personal feeling.

As I work, my desk space became smaller and smaller! No matter what I did, I just couldn’t stay tidy!

  1. It came out nice. I appreciate the advice. There are 2 photo projects hanging over my head, and I have not started because I want them to be perfect. As is, they aren’t useable at all. 😎📷

    1. There is always something you want to do, isn’t there? If I’ve had something hanging around for ages and I want to use but not sure where, it eventually becomes a challenge because I hate throwing it out!
