New Indie Authors have Changed My Reading Habits

I’ve always read books, but in the last few years my reading habits have changed. It made me think about why.

Once we only had the choice of mainstream writers to choose from, and then paperbacks only.

Indie writers emerged, and anyone could publish a book, whether they knew how not.

However, new and enthusiastic writers emerged. These authors have successfully established their own fan base by consistently producing quality books, usually within the same genre. They have engaging newsletters and exclusive groups that keep their fans involved and invested in their work.

This means I now have a wide choice, and I love it!

As I am a multi genre reader I have go to authors and less likely to choose a book I don’t enjoy.

Every now and again, I’ll find a new to me author to add to the list.

I particularly like newsletters. These are great of seeing what’s new, and hearing about offers or freebies.

So if you are an avid reader like me. Sign up to your favourite author’s newsletter.

Meanwhile, as it’s a long weekend, choose one of novellas, as I might be a new to you author.
