#Cardmaking

Here are a couple greeting cards I made which took me a lot longer to make than usual.

The reason is that I bought some decoupage papers on Vinted. It wasn’t until they arrived I realised there were on shiny paper and not the press out cardboard I’d used previously.

With these I had to cut out every element with small scissors. It wasn’t until I was talking to a friend about it that I was told ‘cutting’ was a thing. Done and enjoyed by children and as an adult, it’s therapeutic and satisfying. I don’t feel that, it’s an end to a means.

I need to go and source some of the former as the endless cutting out is a bit of a pain.

I’m still pleased at how they turned out.
