Susanne’s Lakeside Cottage by Paul White

Brief Description – a young couple escape to a secluded cottage for a weekend of fun and frolics.

Charles and Susanne work at the same office. Getting time off without causing suspicion is not easy. So Susanne suggests her secluded lakeside cottage for a weekend getaway.

Charles is delighted as he hasn’t had the time to be alone with her properly yet.

I thought this was going to be a sexy read, which serves me right for not reading the description. As this is the next book in the collection, I would have read it whatever the description said. I enjoy the anticipation of not knowing what is coming. Well, I certainly had a surprise with this one!

Surprise is the wrong word, it was more of a shock. So much that my eyes automatically skipped a whole paragraph because I couldn’t bear to read it. Then found I was at the end of the book.

So beware, read the description. This is a horror in every sense of the words, and not for the squeamish.
