My Review of Striking by Kellee L. Greene

Brief Description – when the world was reset due to climate change, our trio in their individual groups, are doing their best to survive in the harsh new world.

Striking is the last book of The Reset Series. It’s been quite a journey to get to this point. Joss, Stevie, and Adam continue to tell their stories. I was expecting the book to round things up, from the start but the author wasn’t finished with their adventures yet.

There were times when I feared our trio weren’t going to make it. Everyone was trying to survive and some people had their own selfish agendas.

Striking was gripping and tense. Things didn’t begin to favour our protagonists until over half way through the story.

All the way through I wanted our groups to meet and it wasn’t until the end that they finally did. Although, it wasn’t a reunion, because they hadn’t met before. Except for Joss and Adam. They had met briefly at the resort, but I didn’t recall that.

All in all, this was such an entertaining and enjoyable story. It was great world building with believable characters that weren’t all perfect. Once more I recommend this and you’ll need to read the whole series to fully appreciate what these guys go through.

Blurb

Time is up. The end of the road was near. With little more than the clothes on their backs, the survivors are hungry and exhausted. When danger closes in and their lives are threatened, they must find a way to fight for what remains. Their survival depends on it. Now that the race for their lives is near the end… will anyone win? Striking in the final book in The Reset Series.
