Brief Description – surviving the apocalypse was frightening enough. Now our groups have to stay alive and fend off other people.

This instalment blew me away. Each chapter ended on a cliffhanger and as there were three protagonists, I had to wait to find out what happened. Then of course that chapter ended the same way. It’s one of the reasons I finished this story so quickly.
This was a hard read. I wanted the best for these people but obstacles were always in their way. Nothing seemed to go right for them except their loyalty, respect, and love for one another. Some, had become couples and I felt for them as romance in this scary world was hard to find.
Ultimately, when the book came to an end, I was still reeling from the events. I’d not seen any of that coming and it hard to read.
To fully understand what happened you’d have to complete the other books first. It’s only then you’ll get the full impact of Torrent.
Highly recommended.

No end in sight.
With the survivors settled into their shelters, they quickly learn that nowhere is safe. After everything they’ve gone through, trust isn’t something they can easily give out nor is it often deserved.
When their loyalty is tested, they question the price they have to pay for food and shelter.
Time is running out for the survivors. Will they ever find a place where they can truly be
