Review of Drowned by Kellee L. Greene

Brief Description – In an attempt to combat climate change, the world was reset with devastating consequences.

The story continues with the three sets of people journeying through sodden ground and driving rain.

Stevie and Gage pick up more people on the way. Adam, who was now alone finds Leah, who was travelling by herself. They form a relationship as they lean on each other to get them through these savage times.

They all encountered bad guys and I feared for them at times. Then Joss, who was travelling with Robby, Caleb and Jenna, pick up a family of three on the way.

Their perilous adventures were thrilling to read, and with every page turned, I was rooting for them. I still wanted them meet up, but still haven’t.

This wasn’t a stand alone story, you’ll need to read the earlier books before this. You’ll want to continue the series as it’s exciting and thrilling. That’s exactly what we want from the books we read, isn’t it?

I recommend Drowned and give it five stars.

Blurb

Living was torture. Death would be easy.

The survivors continue onward in search of help and safety. With every step, they’re pushed to their limits. The challenges around every corner threaten them both physically and mentally. If there are others still out there, are they even worth finding?
Perhaps they are all that was left in the world. As the race for survival continues, death and fear continue to grow around them. The clock was ticking. Who would be next to succumb to the dangers of the new world?
