Brief Description – after a tidal wave and storm, the waters kept on rising. Our band of hero’s have a lot to face.

I really enjoyed this second book of the series. It continued with our three main characters telling the story in chapters of their own just as they did on the first book. Adam, and his girlfriend Eve, Stevie, and his friend Gage, and Joss and her friend Caleb.
By now the individual groups have picked up others along the way as they run from the rising waters. The rains continues, which is a misery for everyone.
They each encounter bad guys along the way, and I couldn’t stop reading. I also enjoyed finding out about the new people who joined with them. They all had their own stories of survival. I’m hoping the main people, meet up and join together at some point.
There was one massive revelation in this book which I’m going to share because it’s not a spoiler.
I made a mistake and it changed my perception of Stevie. I was well over half way through this second book when it was revealed that Stevie was in fact a girl. A tough girl. What a shock! I went through the whole of the first book imagining a guy.
Another great read and recommend for lovers of post-apocalyptic fiction like me.

After everything ends… who will you become?
As the survivors continued to fight for their lives, seemingly insurmountable challenges push them to their limits. With every breath they take, their very existence is threatened.
The search for safety, family, and food is a never-ending quest. If there is a safe-haven, will they get there before time runs out?
The clock is ticking. How much time do they have before every last bit of hope is gone?
