Review of Darkest Night by Kyla Stone.

Brief Description – after nuclear attack, our band of survivors head to a cult to bring justice, and settle old scores.

This has been an another adrenaline filled read by Kyla Stone. Darkest Night doesn’t let you rest as we continue the story of Dakota, Eden, Logan and their group.

The Shepherds is where Dakota and Eden grew up. The cult has a lot to answer for as the girls face their nemesis head on,

In this instalment we found out more about ‘The Prophet’ and how he manipulated people to do his bidding. His of love of God is a pretence for something a lot more sinister.

It’s a thrilling read, tense and antagonistic. I was desperate for the little romance promised in the previous book. It would have been a bit of relief from the exhaustion and survival felt by all. It didn’t come, at least not in the sense that I wanted.

I still enjoyed it. The ending was very satisfying with a beautiful surprise that filled me with warmth, just as it did for our our protagonists.

In order to enjoy Darkest Night, I suggest you read the rest of the series first. If you love action and adventure throughout, you will love this..

I recommend it.
