A Review of Return to Hell by Rayvn Salvadore

Brief Description – a podcaster goes to interview a serial killer and get more than she bargained for.

This is the next book from this individual story collection about Eastward Prison. The authors attended a book fair held at Shrewsbury prison. I love how they gave each one the same themed cover, and also added them to Kindle Unlimited.

Return to Hell was a superbly crafted story. We also meet the prison governor whom we came across in an earlier book. It was a great connection.

I loved how the author took Governor Maceline Mais from All Day and All Night, and developed her into a full character. She played a big part in the story and I thought that was really cool.

Maladie is an American podcaster who comes to England to interview a notorious killer known as The Shrewsbury Ripper. It was gory and chilling in parts, and when Jack the Ripper entered the story it became all the more unsettling. This book was one heck of read. I really enjoyed the storyline amd recommend it.

Blurb

Journey into the heart of darkness where the past refuses to stay buried as bestselling author Rayvn Salvador returns to her beloved Haunted New Orleans world with a captivating special-release standalone as part of the multi-author Eastward Prison series.

True crime podcaster Maladie Nichols loves her job. With her journalism experience and connections in the law-and-order community, she has made Paths of Perdition one of the most successful shows around. But when a cryptic letter arrives from across the pond, it shakes the very foundation of her world. An inmate at England’s Eastward Prison claims to possess the key to unlocking the identity of one of the most notorious serial killers of the ages: Jack the Ripper.

Intrigued yet apprehensive, Maladie embarks on a journey to uncover the dark secrets hidden within the prison’s walls. With each step closer to the truth, the paranormal and terrifying experiences intensify, leaving her questioning her sanity. Shadows dance ominously, whispers echo through empty hallways, and the presence of an unseen malevolence grips her tightly.

But Maladie is not alone. Friends from the renowned show Haunted New Orleans answer the call and join her investigation. Together, they ally against a vengeful ghost and a soulless killer in pursuit of the truth, determined to banish the evil once and for all and send it back to hell where it belongs.

*A friends-to-lovers, workplace, found family, reluctant heroine, waiting evil, final girl romantic supernatural thriller*
