Brief Description – back in the 1800s, a man and his dog walk across the misty moors and have ghostly encounters.
Right from the start this short read felt creepy. A man is walking along the moors with his dog in the dead of the night. He has two unexplained encounters that left me feeling cold and caused me to look at the shadows on the curtains.
Jonathan has an appointment with a solicitor about an inheritance, and even he knew the inn on the moors was a strange place to meet.
Once he arrives at his destination, things turn even stranger, and much more frightening.
Well, worth reading this story by CS Dixon who skills as a writer can send shivers down your spine. I recommend it.
