Karen’s Chat on Social Media

I’m planning to change the way I use social media. I’ve tried several platforms and have my favourites. But the big thing I learnt is you can have too many. Keeping up with them all takes me away from the important things and that’s getting my books back up.

So I am going to stick with three, and linking them all with similar content because they each do different things and reach different audiences.

First there is my blog, my number one place, Karen J. Mossman – World of Stories. This feeds my Facebook page. Anything I put on here, automatically goes there, but I also need to personalise that a bit. My blog also goes to Tumblr and LinkedIn, which just gives me a presence there.

Some authors have Reader’s Groups, mine is called Books and Beauty. I combine it with my beauty business, Avon.

I’ve always liked Instagram, but don’t get much interaction there. After using AI to give it the once over. It gave me good advice, suggestions, and ideas. So I’m going to implement that and hopefully it will all become cohesive and seamless.
