Brief Description – A nuclear bomb has been dropped on a city and a group of survivors help search for Dakota’s sister. They run into trouble on the way.

Wow, this book! This series, so far, back to back action, conflict after conflict, a race against time all leads to edge of the seat action.
The first book started with a group of people taking cover from the bomb and holding up until it was fairly safe to leave.
This one has young Dakota continuing her mission to find her sister who has taken cover in the bath tub in the middle of the house, just as she had been taught in the event of a disaster.
As it’s safer to stick together the group agree to help Dakota, because she helped them to stay alive.
Kyla Stone takes you on an exciting journey from start to finish with Fear the Fallout, because that’s what you have to do to stay alive.
I have an audible membership and listened the whole of the first book. When this month’s credit came along I was able to purchase the whole box set. It was also in Kindle Unlimited, individually or as a set. With this one, I read it and listened to it.
The choice of listening or reading, is excellent. There is one for everyone. And, as a bonus for me who prefers smaller reads, this and the first book are under 300 pages long. Therefore, I highly recommend the story, and it gets the full five stars.

If the radiation doesn’t kill you, the survivors will…
Dakota and Logan continue their treacherous journey to escape the city, but danger threatens at every turn. They must avoid uncontrollable fires, unstable buildings, and deadly fallout contamination.
Dakota knows of a place to ride out the coming chaos—a safe house deep in the Everglades. But Dakota’s past has caught up to her. Amid the radioactive ruins of Miami, someone is hunting her. And he won’t stop until he has her…or they’re both dead.
